[edit]Odeon was actually very succesful in northern Europe during the sixties, as they were releasing alot of Beatles records (at least in Germany and Denmark).
Odeon survived in Argentina and Brazil at least until the mid 1980
Origine of name and logo
[edit]"The label's name and logo come from the Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe in Paris." The Théâtre de l'Odéon doesn't look like the logo at all.
