John Busby and James Busby were created by me after someone made John & James Busby. That article didn't contain too much info, so I did a bit of web research to create these. Just a note of caution - web research is often dodgy. :-) Any corrections welcome. Evercat 23:19 25 Jul 2003 (UTC)

[edit]Despite the interference from Evercat we shall press on with reliable information on John and James Busby

"we"? Just who are "we", and why do "we" feel we have the right to create odd article titles? RickK 08:15 26 Jul 2003 (UTC)
- What interference? I've tried my best to help you. The original page (which is here, though originally titled John & James Busby, now moved) was substandard and I suspect its main point was to plug a book (that hasn't even been released yet, apparently).
- In short, what are you complaining about? If the current version of either page contains information that is wrong, then fix it.
- Oh, and I'm amused by your email in which you call me an a pretentious interfering busybody. Get a grip. Evercat 12:26 26 Jul 2003 (UTC)
I've now merged the original article in with the history here, btw. Evercat 02:24 27 Jul 2003 (UTC)
The picture here is of James Busby, not John Busby. Nuggetman (talk) 05:01, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- Wow. 13.5 years later and that still seems to be the case. I've commented on the talk page of the image with some references to NZ's Ministry of Culture & Heritage using the same portrait for James Busby, and I'll remove it from this article. If someone genuinely thinks this is John Busby then maybe they can add the image back.
