Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pp racer
Appearance
I've converted this stub from a speedy since it doesn't seem to fit the criteria and looks like a good faith contribution. No vote.
For your convenience, here is the current content:
pp racer is an Open Source racing game, based on the last open source release of Tuxracer. The most recent version is 0.2.1, which contains some improvements. Kappa 17:34, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- delete as totally non-notable. Does 0.2.1 mean it's in beta, or am I computer illeratate? hfool 18:42, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Deletebecause of lack of notability. I think that it should mean that it's in beta, but not everyone names versions the same way. Jeltz talk 18:49, 2004 Dec 23 (UTC)- Delete. No, 0.2.1 means it's in development, probably even before alpha. At least traditionally, but there are plenty of very mature and stable pieces of software with version numbers still in the low 0.x's, so it doesn't say everything. --fvw* 18:52, 2004 Dec 23 (UTC)

(google_test("pp racer") == NULL) BACbKA 22:15, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC) /* For the record, I was the original speedy nominator. I believed it was a substub not a stub, and disliked the Google test. */Thanks for the comment below. Still delete as right now the article is a substub with about the only contents being the (wrong) title. If and when it's amended beyond the current sub-stub size, and augmented with links, it might be kept as Ppracer and/or PlanetPenguin racer. If you think the game is notable in its current version 0 stage, and care to do this amendment+rename, I'll be happy to change my vote. BACbKA 19:44, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC) - Comment: googling PPracer gets 19,200 hits [1] . Kappa 23:19, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. A classic "if I've not heard of it, it can't be notable". Suggest voters read Wikipedia:deletion policy and m:Wiki is not paper. Dan100 10:42, Dec 24, 2004 (UTC)
