Canadian French moved
[edit]You might want to know that I moved Canadian French to French in Canada, while Canadian French is legit, it's content had little to do with any peculiarities of Canadian French lects, and was much more similar in spirit and content to other "Language in country" article. --Circeus 13:13, Jan 11, 2005 (UTC)
Archiving
[edit]I know that now, but unfortunately, wasn't aware of the possibilities and use of secondary pages and didn't think to adjust them afterward. (if only because there have been little work done on Quebec French since then)--Circeus 15:42, Jan 26, 2005 (UTC)

I've done this in a few cases now. It's to provide broken flow to help insulate the spoiler from the rest of the article, thereby reducing the tendency for people to read-through or glance-forward even if they don't mean to. It's a personal thing that I'm asking people in the stub sorting project for input on. I take it you do not like it, yes?
Also, one should consider stubs to be transient, of course, and not permanent features of an article. I'm hoping that work on the spoiler template will move to the point where a new one with a "hide text" function is released for general use.

[edit]Hi Valmi,
I wrote a bit about how to make a trill, if that's still of interest to you, at Talk:Alveolar trill. kwami 2005 July 1 05:42 (UTC)

Featured article for December 25th
[edit]I noticed that you have listed yourself as an atheist Wikipedian. You will probably be interested to know that Brian0918 has nominated Omnipotence paradox as the front page article for December 25th. You can vote on this matter here. The other suggestion being supported by others for that date is Christmas, although Raul654 has historically been against featuring articles on the same day as their anniversary/holiday. Featured article candidacy for an Hugo Chavez subarticle
[edit]I noticed you have listed yourself in Category:Socialist Wikipedians. That said, you will probably be interested in an Hugo Chávez Featured Article Candidacy (FAC). Chavez himself happens to be a socialist politician. As usual, please use your own higher judgment in deciding how to vote on this FAC, if you should decide to devote a few seconds to the matter. Regards, ← SARAVASK — 01:52, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi
[edit]I thank you for taking the time to vote. I hoped that you did not have any unexpressed concerns with the article (I will be glad to address them for you). The blanking of my talk page has to do with a personal dispute involving that FAC. I hope it all gets resolved soon — don't worry about it. So I will see you around then. Take care, and enjoy your wikibreak. Saravask 03:36, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
