Music and film releases not notable enough
[edit]regarding the removal of the release of london calling: why is it not considered relevant enough? saturday night fever's release is on the list... nsw photo cards are there... why not?
Deleted the release of I am Legend from events. Reads like marketing to me. In any case, the release of a film is not notable enough for this page. Millichip 17:22, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Yearly recurring meteor shower "Geminids" usually peaks on the morning of December 14th. It is not obvious to me how or where this would be added to the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.148.14.175 (talk) 16:28, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Saddam Hussein capture date
[edit]Most available sources cite the date of capture as December 13 and the event is listed on that page. There might be conflicts in the date based on local times. It should be listed on the date that the capture took place in local time (Tikrit time). I'll survey some sources to see what it was. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 20:04, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- this source says 8:30PM local time today in an article dated December 14.
- this source says December 13.
- this source says Saturday which was December 13.
- this source says December 13.
- this source says Saturday December 13.
- this source says Saturday December 13.
- this source says Saturday December 13.
I think that is enough to support December 13 as the date. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 20:11, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- I agree and have contacted the BBC to see if they wish to correct their news article. Tiddly-Tom 16:29, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Natascha McElhone
[edit]I’ve taken Natascha McElhone off this page. The date given for her birth — 14th December, 1969 — was radically wrong.
The article about her gives 23rd March, 1971!!!![1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cuddy2977 (talk • contribs) 14:54, 3 December 2014 (UTC)

Geminids highest intensity being the morning of December 14
[edit]Hallo everyone, I don't know who's fond of astronomy or not... but the early morning of the 14th of December is usually the time of the Geminids meteor shower highest intensity. Said that... in which section this info is supposed to be inserted in the article? Duh!? M aurice 09:59, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
