[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Levellers. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20080624075726/http://www.bartleby.com:80/65/le/Levelers.html to http://www.bartleby.com/65/le/Levelers.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

vocal appeals to the crowd?
[edit]"vocal appeals to the crowd" ?? Does that mean 'speeches'? 'pamphlets, petitions and speeches' is certainly punchier than 'pamphlets, petitions and vocal appeals to the crowd'. DlronW (talk) 14:08, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
Levellers and Agitators
[edit]The sentence 'Lilburne considered the term pejorative and called his supporters "Levellers so-called" and preferred "Agitators"' is rather misleading, in that it suggests that the terms 'Levellers' and 'Agitators' are synonymous. The Agitators were delegates or representatives elected by their fellow soldiers of some regiments of the New Model Army, a very unusual example of grass-roots democracy emerging in the military. Many of them were Levellers or Leveller sympathizers, but most of the ordinary Levellers were civilians. PhilG (talk) 22:33, 4 June 2019 (UTC)
