[edit]I added the picture which was originally linked to because it is allowed according that website. Problem now is, that I can't get the picture to show up if I make "www.aviewoncities.com" an actual link to that website. Any ideas? -Lapunkd
This building is actually called the "Gooderham Building". The term "flatiron" was coined 10 years after this building was constructed. A similar building in New York was dubbed the "Flatiron Building" because of its shape and the one in Toronto also attracted this nickname. Everyone refers to it as the "Flatiron Building" but it is actually the "Gooderham Building" as noted by the historical plaque at the entrance.
I do not know how to change the title of this page but wanted to alert you to the fact that is wrong. Montyjam 20:18, 26 September 2007 (UTC)montyjam
Usage
[edit]What is the building currently used for? That does not seem clearly stated in the article. NorthernThunder (talk) 06:33, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

The mural
[edit]Two points for whoever would like to improve this article: (1) a photo of the mural would be useful in this article, and (2) the text currently says, "It is a picture of the Perkins Building, which is located directly across the street," but I don't see a building across any of the local streets that has windows that look like those in the mural. I'm tempted to remove the sentence, but left it in case somebody can make more sense of the statement. Regards, PKT(alk) 16:33, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
Two cats in a dog fountain
[edit]After a recent trip to this location (June 2018), I discovered there are TWO cats. One is at the lower tier at the fountain itself, while the other (black & white tuxedo) is on top of a metallic cube within the park, near Wellington St.
Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture and prefer not to update without evidence.
Could anyone confirm and update accordingly?
