As someone who studies the local churches carefully, I certainly believe that the term "the Lord's Recovery" is NOT a synonym for "the Local Church". In fact, I have heard and seen numerous Christian groups describe a similar concept.

No you haven't. And should'nt you reveal that you are a member of this religion?--Administer 04:31, 17 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Witness Lee was the first to use this term, but by no means the first to advance this idea. The concept is very similar to themes such as "the Reformation didn't go far enough", the "Church of Philadelphia", the house church movement, and other perspectives that God is moving today to restore the Church to the New Testament practice. It is my hope that in the future the article will be expanded to include these wider perspectives. I think deletion is unwarranted, so I've reverted the article.

User Wetman mentioned "name-dropping". Could you please clarify what you mean by that term? Cokoli 02:36, 11 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

This is jargon used by Witness Lee. It doesn't need a page all of its own with a lot of name-dropping. Wetman 07:03, 6 Feb 2004 (UTC)

This is internal jargon of the Local Church of Witness Lee, which is run by the Living Stream Ministry. It is a synonym for the Local Church itself.
