Greed Island is not a sequel to Hunter x Hunter, it's simply a story arc within Hunter x Hunter.
Support for this claim is that the manga in which the Greed Island story arc occurs is still called simply Hunter x Hunter, and there is no "gap" between the Greed Island story arc and the previous story arc as usually appears between sequels and their prequels. Luvcraft 16:35, 2 Jul 2004 (UTC)
