Straw
[edit]Removed:
- 2003 - UK foreign secretary Jack Straw makes an unannounced visit to Iraq.
In the larger scheme of things, so what? This is the type of detail is what the Current events page is for. --mav
Move the Chosin date back to 27th
[edit]The Chinese attack on Chosin did not start until the night of 27th, per Roy Appleman's work on Escaping the Trap: The US Army X Corps in Northeast Korea, 1950. This should be corrected. Jim101 (talk) 05:05, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
- I move the entry back because the Battle of Ch'ongch'on River started on 26th. Jim101 (talk) 17:50, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
Mumbai attacks
[edit]@Deb: Do you think we should be mentioning it both in the events section and the deaths section? I was about to remove it from the deaths section but wanted your thoughts. Kees08 (Talk) 07:57, 26 November 2019 (UTC)
- No, I don't. We could name the notable dead in the entry for the event but I expect we will end up with people re-adding it under the deaths (and vice versa). But I would support the idea of removing it from Deaths.Deb (talk) 09:00, 26 November 2019 (UTC)
