Hello there!
[edit]Thanks for registering for Wikipedia and welcome.
I see you are rather interesed in New England and Connecticut. (At least as interested in an anonymous user was prior)
I am not from New England or Connecticut, so I am confused. A Google search on Connecticut seems to support the idea that Connecticut is and always was part of a region of the united states called "New England". Why is it that you feel all entries revolving around Connecticut and New England should change this? Knoma Tsujmai 13:13, 7 May 2005 (UTC)
- Please be cautious of violating the "three revert" rule; you're now at three reversions of the New England article within a twenty-four hour period; reverting it again inside that period may cause you to be temporarily banned from Wikipedia.
Well why do you guys keep changing it back to what it was? If it is not you, then whoever it is should be at this limit also. You people want people to edit, but you don't like what people edit it to.
- We do have rules here about adding your own opinion to articles. For the reasons mentioned on Talk:New England, several of us feel that your additions are not suitable for the article. I recommend reading Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. If you continue to revert these articles, you will probably be blocked from editing here temporarily. I think you should discuss your changes instead of simply reverting the article. Rhobite 20:02, May 11, 2005 (UTC)
You mistake actual resident facts for written and never modernized history. I am writing actual facts. All you guys do is keep changing it without even checking the facts. You can even check the facts on your own website...
- You're simply adding your opinion to the article. The US Census Bureau's New England division includes Connecticut. If you look up New England in an unabridged dictionary, you'll find that it's listed as the standard six state region. You can claim all you want that you're adding facts to the article, but you need to cite your sources here. I added a reference to New England. If there has been a notable dispute over whether CT is in New England, we can document that dispute. But please stop trying to add your personal opinion to articles. Rhobite 02:39, May 12, 2005 (UTC)
There has always been a dispute over it. What is there for New England is UNTRUE:" Boston is its business and cultural center and its most populated city." That is an all out lie! Boston is no where in the CT area!! What culture, what center? Do you see where I am coming from? These are clearly someone else's personal opinions as they want it to remain that way.
I can bring you proof that it IS NOT my personal opinion, but the opinion of people in CT! How do I cite? I'll get you more cites than you can handle!

Welcome to WikiProject U.S. regions
[edit]As WikiProject U.S. regions' current coordinator I am pleased to welcome you to the project. I have made two slight adjustments to your edits on the project's main page: 1. the partcipants list is formated to included talk pages and is alphabetical, thus I placed moved your name infront of a user name begining with an O and added a link to your talk page, and 2. questions should be posted on the project talk page; I have moved your question to and answered it there. I'm aware of the continuing disagreement on Talk:New England, since this falls under our suggested policy I have invited Rhobite to join as well, in the hope that our project might offer you both guidance on the article. Again thanks for becoming a participant. -JCarriker 10:49, May 24, 2005 (UTC)
Please sse the new US regions maps
[edit]There is a proposal at WikiProject U.S. regions/Maps to replace the current grab bag of U.S. maps with a standardized style. The maps also remove the always, sometimes, and rare categories, in favor of a core area always in a region highlighted in red, while states that may or may not be included in a region are shown in pink. Please comment on the talk page. If approved or revised by participants, I'd like to make the transition within the next two weeks. Thanks. -JCarriker 19:09, July 10, 2005 (UTC)
