Template:Extended confirmed restriction
[edit]I noticed {{Extended confirmed restriction}} posted on a requested move at Talk:Killing of Ismail al-Ghoul#Requested move 25 October 2024. Just taking notice of this template which was created a year ago by a page mover (non-administrator) and has been transcluded in over 50 discussions. Getting myself up to speed on this, I see the matter recently discussed at Wikipedia talk:Arbitration Committee/Archive 25#Extended confirmed restriction. Presumably 95.183.203.226 is not extended confirmed, so asking for clarification on whether they may request a move, as a particular specific form of "edit request". I'm here after fixing their malformed request, which sat in that state for five days before I noticed it. wbm1058 (talk) 12:50, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
- There is a rough consensus that requested moves do not fall under the edit request carve out. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 12:54, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
Proposals regarding ARBECR protection levels at VPR
[edit]There is currently a request for comment at Village pump (proposals) about protection levels for articles under an arbitration extended confirmed restriction.
RfC: Extended confirmed pending changes (PCECP)
[Q1:] Should extended confirmed pending changes (hereby abbreviated as PCECP) be enabled on Wikipedia?
Q2: If this proposal passes, should PCECP be applied preemptively to WP:ARBECR topics?
