members list numbering
[edit]So, by what grounds are the members listed? Alphabetical would be the most logical, but that it sure is not. And it is not by party or city, because they seem to be somewhat random. Or is it just that, random? 82.141.119.12 (talk) 03:42, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
Illinois presented as solid Republican state in 1860s but HofR not solidly R then
[edit]article says in 1864, Republicans swept the state legislature and at the time of Lincoln's assassination at Ford's Theater, Illinois stood as a solidly Republican state. but if you look at table in Wiki "Political party strength in Illinois" article you see the state HofR being split 41/34 or 55/30 between the two main parties. 174.3.203.119 (talk) 21:47, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
