I don't want to delete a well-meaning attempt, but does anyone know more about this (real--I checked) town? All the things I've found so far are in German, which I am minimally proficient in. Jwrosenzweig 23:02, 3 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Patience, you should allowed me the 10 minutes to make it a real stub (of which I waited several minutes for WP to show me the page). andy 23:07, 3 Feb 2004 (UTC)
Patience? But of course! :) Impatience would have been a VfD listing....I just figured I'd call for aid. I don't delete such things unless there really is no hope for them. Sorry if I made it seem more urgent. Jwrosenzweig 23:19, 3 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Capital of Germany?

[edit]

Can anybody site a source for the statement made in the introduction that the city became "capital of all of Germany" during Struve's uprising? Just because the rebels may have believed that it was the rightful capital, doesn't mean that this gained acceptance throughout the rest of the country or that people on the further sides of Germany even knew it was happening at the time.
