I added a few template messages in regards to the section on Desmond Doss. I'm suggesting that:
1) it be edited down to a link to the respective stand-alone article on the man (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desmond_doss), much like the other items/people in the section, and
2) it follow the neutral point of view as per wikipedia policy. Which basically means no more "Praise God and country. This man is a real hero. Praise God, for Desmond." type stuff. This is an encyclopedia, not a forum for your personal opinions/viewpoints. Let me state that I have no problems with anyone's religious beliefs and/or patriotism, but a well researched article on the man will bring your point across much better than subjective phrases and religious proclamations.
I'll give it a month or so before I do the editing myself.
Regarding Aaron Latham listing in famous people from Piedmont
[edit]When I followed the Aaron Latham link, it took me to an article about a completely different person than the one listed as a high school quarterback/hero from Piedmont. Since these are likely two different people, I question whether the high school quarterback/hero should be listed under famous people from the town.68.219.151.23 03:32, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
