I am a Clinical Psychologist based in the South West of England, working with the Devon Partnership NHS Trust, and Plymouth and Exeter Universities. I have professional interests in Critical Psychology, and understandings about Social Inequalities and its impact on mental health. Clinically this relates to Gender-related power processes such as domestic violence and sexual abuse. I am also interested in understanding Men's mental health issues from this perspective, and have contributed to the literature in this field. I am keen to develop emancipatory ways of working to support user centrality and empowerment such as with the 'Hearing Voices'movement and more user-friendly psychosis and Early Intervention services generally.
